Reading out game ROM data (dumping): Once your original GBA game has been plugged in to the Flash Advance Linker you can use the provided software to read out the rom data and save it to your local PC harddrive as a so-called ROM file. The Flash Advance Linker also lets you read out the savegame to store it in an extra file - you won't use any game data e.g. when the battery in your original GBA game gets empty. Sending ROM files to your empty cartridge (Flash Advance 64M): Simply use the provided software to open the ROM file from your harddrive it will then send the data through the printer port to the Flash Advance Linker which will store the data in the Cartridge - just as when you connect your MP3 Player to your PC to 'fill' it with songs. e-merger 16M Set $64.90 E-Merger + 16M or 64M Flash CardFor GB and GBC ROMs. Can hold anywhere from 1 to 64 Games. GB game romz are on avarage 1M (1/4M - 4M). GBC romz are ~8M but can be as big us 32M (Perfect Dark). For games bigger than 16M You could buy extra GB e-merger 64M Card $79 that can hold 2 x 32MBit games. I havent seen a game for GBC that would be bigger than 32M. |

The GB e-merger is a tool to backup and program Gameboy games. Multiple games can be stored into one single 16M Card. Flash cards are rewriteable and with the build in SRAM Memory and special IC's (for save game data) you have exactly the same quality as on the original cartridge (including saving your game records). Furthermore the unit can be used to directly backup from one original Cartridge to the attached GB 16M Flash Card (multiple games are possible). Includes real time clock for games like Pokemon. With new ASIC chip can play games without patches. |
